Setup Instructions
1 Create a Flex Query

Log in to IBKR Account Management
Go to Performance & Reports > Flex Queries
Click "+" next to Activity Flex Query
In sections, check Trades
Set period (e.g. "Last 365 Calendar Days"), format XML, Save

2 Get Your Credentials

Note the Query ID number next to your saved query
Still in Flex Queries page, scroll to Flex Web Service Configuration
Enable it, set expiry to 1 Year, click "Generate New Token"
Copy the token string

3 Connect Below

Paste your Flex Token and Query ID below
Click Test Connection to verify
Then Save & Sync to pull your trades
Future syncs are one-click from the Analytics tab

TWS / IB Gateway (Live Trading)

For real-time scanning and live order execution, the bot connects to TWS or IB Gateway on your machine.

TWS Setup:
1. Open TWS or IB Gateway
2. Go to Edit > Global Configuration > API > Settings
3. Enable "Active X and Socket Clients"
4. Set Socket Port to 7497 (paper) or 7496 (live)
5. Uncheck "Read-Only API"

How to authenticate
When the gateway is unhealthy or disconnected, use the VNC panel below to log in: enter the VNC password, then complete the IBKR 2FA authentication in the gateway window. Once authenticated, the gateway turns healthy and the bot + dashboard reconnect automatically.
